Unmasking the real roots of racism
We are facing a global protest against the racial discrimination and abuse. I have tried to write down what my views are on this issue and what I think where did this originate from. What I am presenting here is a little different from what's a common belief.
Racism basically refers to a belief that a race is primarily determinant of human traits and capacities and that racial differences produce an inherent superiority of a particular race. According to Google's definition it is the prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism against someone of a different race based on the belief that one's own race is superior. Racism has been believed by many to exist right from the start of the age we're living in but it isn't exactly true. I believe that the early man didn't even care about what colour another person was or what background he had. If someone was from a different part of the world, it would take time but they would eventually settle down together and move on with their lives, given they didn't have everlasting opposing views or opinions. It was only after we started developing a system (be it religious or financial) that gave rise to this unnecessary evil as a by-product.
Now, many people believe racism came from Europe, that the whites were finding new ways to make a luxurious life out of all available resources which led to a difference in lifestyles. This difference made them feel like they're special and were blessed by god. So these people started believing that the blacks are cursed by god because they're not being given the perks of development like them. Blacks were considered backwards because of the way of their living and how they managed their survival. Whites had an upper hand on other races because of their advancements and took advantage of their wealth and power to lure in other people to do their work. Blacks who were already thought to be a cursed filth because of their dark colour were their best option. They offered them the oxygen of this new system, money and a better place to live. Gradually, this gave rise to 'slave trade'. Giant firms saw huge gains in bringing cheap labour in who didn't have much maintenance cost technically. Hence, the slavery in all of Europe.
This is a short summary of a common belief how racism came to be. But I think that you got it all wrong. This is not the actual origin. I believe that it actually came from the modern day Indian and Chinese region because of their religious system. Let me explain. I justt's proven that several civilizations were being developed even before 5000 B.C. but what's always ignored is the fact that modern day Asia and the Middle East region had civilizations that were already developed enough to make a system that they ran on. A new discovery proves Indus valley civilization is officially the oldest known civilization of the world, even older than the previous oldest Sumerian and Egyptian civilizations. At the excavation sites, the researchers saw preservation of all cultural levels right from the pre-Indus Valley Civilization phase (9000-8000 BC) through what we have categorised as Early Harappan (8000-7000BC) to the Mature Harappan times. The bricks used throughout the Indus valley sites were of the same proportions. They even had a proper sewage system.
There was a proper caste system which has been described in hindu scriptures and mythologies. People were divided in four separate classes according to the families in which they were born. Their lifestyle and work was defined by the caste they belonged to. These four classes were Brahmin, Kshatriya, Vaishya and Shudra. Brahmin was considered as the highest category. Only these people were allowed the proper intense worship, and they could educate others about Gods. Next was Kshatriyas, who were the warriors of that period. Vaishyas were traders and Shudras were the lowest form which included all types of cleaners. You'll be surprised to know that the upper caste didn't even touch or visit the Shudras because they felt they were impure.
Is that not racism ?!
They used to say that even drinking water from a Shudra's house would be considered as a bad omen. These people were called 'Harijans' by everyone, The untouchables. This kind of racism is similar to or even worse than what started later on in Europe and what people are fighting against today.
The colour shades are same, the blood is same, the body is same, their capabilities are same then who are you to decide which family should or should not do something. Yes, the idea would have been a game changer if it would have been the occupations deciding your class instead of Vice-Versa. But anyways, let's move on from the past. With western mindset taking over, people should also have moved on from this corrupted system of fake religious beliefs. But they have not and Why am I calling it fake? Because their Gods themselves were of different shades of colour ranging from black to white, even took birth in the lower castes when they had to come down to re-establish the dharma (goodwill). It was not Gods but these people themselves who became too egoistic about their way of life and achievements and particularly their family background, who introduced these evil editions to what could have been a great system. This way of thinking has still not gone today. Although the people here have now started changing their mindset but it is still just a fake show they're putting up just to maintain their public image, as the very base of this culture is what society thinks of you. Brahmins today still believe that they are closer to Gods than anyone and they're allowed do anything to anyone who is from the lower categories of castes even if comes to anal probing anyone. Almost everybody knows this but no one dares to speak up because then it'll be going against the religious system and the upper caste people. They know ways to torture someone even without leaving their place and someone noticing.
All these talks about being a diversified nation are all part of their agenda to brainwash people into thinking that everyone is safe and welcome here. Hell, Even 3-6 years minors are raped here with sheer brutality. The latest stats suggest that there are 4 rapes happening on an average daily in India. And more than 0.1 million child rape cases were pending last year. Why do you think people would be safe in this country ? There's discrimination of every sort in India. Take for one, if you have money people will give you respect and if you don't then it doesn't matter how much good you have done or how talented you are, you'll be treated as dirt. These people are so lost in their pride of being an old culture and purer life form that they call every other national as impure life form because they are banished and migrated ones, they don't have good eating habits(beef, pork etc). People have several other reasons. Nobody had any problem with their eating habits but they want to control what people eat here. Freedom comes at a cost to foreign nationals here. Although they show respect to everyone on the front but what they really think and talk about on the inside is that everyone out there is bad and a sinner. I can give countless examples of the victims of this mindset who could never speak up due to lack of a stage or recognition.
These are some cases out of countless happening everyday out there,
In this clip, the African man speaks about how few men teased him on the road while driving and when he consulted them, they called him a negro and attacked him together.
A Congo national beaten to death in Delhi by 3-4 locals.
A Nigerian national tied to a pole and thrashed in Delhi.
It's not a secret how India is involved Hindu-Muslim thing. How people are beating and torturing Muslims in the name of making their country a Hindu nation, making them homeless and killing them openly. I think even a single video would be enough to explain muslims situation.
Police attacking a muslim religious procession even if it's not violent in any way.
Christain family beaten for refusing to renounce faith.
Christain attacked during worship.
Christain girl beaten in Chhattisgarh.
The whole Church was attacked in Jabalpur.A minor was killed for converting to Christainity.
These are only a few out of many cases that are happening on a regular basis and being given a fake cause by the people and authorities. All of us know how many terrorist groups all around the world are doing the same in the name of religion in Africa, Middle East, other regions of Asia etc. What's really surprising is that India doesn't need any terrorist group for this cruelty. The people themselves are so motivated and filled with ego and pride that they don't care what's constitution and more importantly freedom. Plus, the police authorities also don't care much when it's done in the name of religious issues.
Isn't it sort of a terrorism ?!
Indians want respect for them and their nation but when they visit other nations but they'll not do the same when it comes to other nationals visiting India. Why?! Because their hollow pride makes them feel superior. Just because they don't eat the kind of food which people eat abroad like pork, beef etc. They feel they're in the good books of Gods. A really aware spiritual person would tell them that there were people from their own hindu scriptures who hunted and ate animals at some point of time in their life. But people just don't want to believe it. It's like, "I'll believe only this part of the scripture because I like it and not the other part".
Isn't it some kind of foolishness ?!
Recently, international cricketer from West Indies, Darren Sammy posted a video on the internet asking for the apology from Indian cricketers, calling out the racism during Indian Premier league. Christopher Henry Gayle backed him that it does happen in cricket in India.

Honestly, this is pretty common throughout the nation, calling dark people with this name that Sammy was disappointed for. I have been also given the same name 'kaala'(meaning black) by my classmates during schooldays. They teased me for being dark colour person in the class and used to say that they won't be able to see me if the lights were off and several things like that. It was all fun for them. The whole class used to have a laugh on such things. All I could do was sit and see it through as lodging complain was never an option against such majority. They said, it was just fun. Recently, I came to know that it was not just fun but was also an insult when they cussed my mother for her dark skin and revealed that they thought the same for me too all along. It's just if they speak the truth out, people would think of them as bad guys. They also teased me by calling an other backward cast guy (OBC) from time to time and that I should not be treated good. People tease these coloured as if they are some low life form. There's not even a remote possibility of building a case on such things here, so people just try to let go in different ways. Making it out from the streets is always very difficult for dark skin people. Finding a person to get engaged to for life seems even more difficult for dark skin. Infact, the Bollywood industry, which has some really big names and broad minded people also doesn't give two shits about people who are dark in colour even if they are better actors than the ones who are of lighter shade and look better. If this is the situation for just the darker skin colour, we can't even think of how people think about the blacks here. Many believe, blacks are not good people, that they're bad and evil.
Insults and Tortures of even Chinese nationals have started increasing drastically in the name of boycotting Chinese products now. It's like nobody in this world is more emotional than the Indians. If they do it, they do it with full enthusiasm but way emotionally. It's not that crimes are not committed in other parts of the world but what matters is the extent of it and how it affects our nature. Even the Syria issue is something that can't ever be forgotten, let alone forgiveness. But that was another thing. Overall, I think India plays a pivotal role in the main causes for all the chaos that we are witnessing globally today, be it spiritual, mental, physical or any kind. It can already be seen that we're slowly inching towards the end like it's mentioned in the holy scriptures of any religion. But what people choose to ignore is the question "Why?" It's exactly because of things like these. Honestly, it sounds so silly that these things are foretold in the scriptures that are thousands of years old and still we're unable to correct our path. It shows the level of perfection we have achieved as a whole species. There's no doubt that racism has also played an important role in bringing our world to where we are today, at the brink of extinction. Because then it makes people do other things which are not meant to be done. Treating others as low life form creates negative differences. And it's well understood that any chaos can be a product of even a little bit of negativity originated anywhere. If we succeed in eradicating this negativity, we'll be bringing a drastic change to the conditions we are living in , just my opinion! We can start by sharing this as much as possible.
